Download the Windows installer

Download Rook Lateral from your signed-in account on the Rook website. Do not use unofficial copies.

Download

1. Go to the Rook website and sign in.
2. Open the Portal.
3. Under Installer, click Download for Windows.
4. Save the Rook-Setup-<version>.exe installer.

Install

Run the installer. It is a per-user Windows x64 install; administrator rights are not required for a standard install. See Install Rook for full steps.

After install, Rook Lateral can check for updates automatically when you are signed in, and from Help → Check for Updates.

Upgrading from Rook 1.3 or earlier

Uninstall the old version before installing the current release. Rook 1.3 cannot auto-update to 2.x.
